Life Together in Jesus

God intends our church to be so much more than a Sunday gathering. We are a body of believers in Jesus, walking through life together seeking to grow in our relationship with God. Life Groups at City Calvary are a key part of the model given to us in Acts 2:46-47. Jesus Himself provided the best example of small group ministry as so much of His life focused on 12 disciples.

For us today, small groups are an essential part of Christian growth.

They are vital for:
Growing closer to one another as we grow closer to our Lord Jesus
Helping one another understand and apply God's Word
Encouraging, challenging, and holding one another accountable to the work and grace of God in our lives
Caring for one another and ministering to our spiritual, emotional and physical needs
Providing opportunities to use our spiritual gifts and ministries within the church body

All of this best occurs within an atmosphere of honest and open relationships as we commit to meeting weekly in our homes.

The Fall 2010 Life Groups begin the week of September 19 through December 12th. If you would like to be involved in the Life Groups ministry here at City Calvary please fill out the registration form in Life Groups brochure at the reception counter at church, or talk with Pastor John.
