Know Jesus | Be Transformed by Jesus | Share Jesus with the World
Sundays at 10:00am & Wednesdays at 7:00pm
What to expect on a Sunday...
Gathering together to worship Jesus and to hear God’s word is the high point of our week at City Calvary Chapel. We meet to worship Christ in a welcoming setting. Our Sunday services consist of music, a sermon and then a time of additional music and prayer.
In the tradition of Calvary Chapels throughout the world, the Bible is the source for preaching at City Calvary Chapel. It is through the Word of God that Jesus speaks to us and accomplishes His purposes for good in our lives. We want the Bible to ignite our hearts with deep and worshipful affections for Jesus. And we want the Bible to transform our lives so that we live out a vision for Jesus’ kingdom.
City Calvary Chapel’s Worship Ministry aims to equip and enhance our worship of Jesus as a response to the love of God. The music at City Calvary features new music that God has given to His church as well as fresh takes on time-tested music through which Christians have worshipped for many years. Our goal through music is to glorify Christ through gospel-centered songs and lyrics.
Children are in the sanctuary during worship. After worship, kids are welcome to remain with their families, or join one of these City Calvary Kids classes:
What to expect on a Wednesday...
Wednesday nights are study-oriented with group discussion time. We offer a variety of groups and focusses, some going deeper into understanding God's Word, some topical studies. We often hold men's and women's groups separately. Childcare is not provided for our evening studies.
The Word is alive at CCC! We have multiple options for anyone seeking to dive deeper into the Word of God. Women can join us Tuesday mornings or Wednesday evenings for The Well, and Women & The Word, Men can join us on Wednesday evenings or Sunday mornings, and anyone is welcome to learn more about the Author’s intended meaning on Tuesday evenings! Join a study today!
It’s fundamentally important to us at CCC that we find opportunities to facilitate encounters with the Holy Spirit. Join us any Sunday for worship and mark your calendars for November 27 for a special night of giving thanks to the Lord for all He has done on the Eve of the Thanksgiving feast. And keep December 14 open on your Calendar for our annual Taproot Theater free performance!
