City Calvary Chapel

Know Jesus | Be Transformed by Jesus | Share Jesus with the World

Sundays at 10:00am  &  Wednesdays at 7:00pm

What to expect on a Sunday...

Gathering together to worship Jesus and to hear God’s word is the high point of our week at City Calvary Chapel. We meet to worship Christ in a welcoming setting. Our Sunday services consist of music, a sermon and then a time of additional music and prayer.

Teaching

In the tradition of Calvary Chapels throughout the world, the Bible is the source for preaching at City Calvary Chapel. It is through the Word of God that Jesus speaks to us and accomplishes His purposes for good in our lives. We want the Bible to ignite our hearts with deep and worshipful affections for Jesus. And we want the Bible to transform our lives so that we live out a vision for Jesus’ kingdom.

Worship

City Calvary Chapel’s Worship Ministry aims to equip and enhance our worship of Jesus as a response to the love of God. The music at City Calvary features new music that God has given to His church as well as fresh takes on time-tested music through which Christians have worshipped for many years. Our goal through music is to glorify Christ through gospel-centered songs and lyrics.

Kids

Children are in the sanctuary during worship. After worship, kids are welcome to remain with their families, or join one of these City Calvary Kids classes:
Nursery

Preschool/Kindergarten

Elementary

What to expect on a Wednesday...

Wednesday nights are study-oriented with group discussion time. We offer a variety of groups and focusses, some going deeper into understanding God's Word, some topical studies. We often hold men's and women's groups separately. Childcare is not provided for our evening studies.

If you have been wondering how to engage your friends and family in the true meaning of the Christmas season, join CCC for our annual Taproot Theater event, and bring a guest or two! Taproot’s unique theater performances are entertaining and thought provoking while layering in a Gospel element. This year their performance of Foolish Wiseman will be followed by Christmas Carols, a message of hope from Pastor John Aydelott, and a holiday cookie buffet.

This season of anticipation and celebration can be painful for those in our body, and around the country and world, who are suffering, broken hearted or have experienced loss. This time for reflection and prayer will be a safe, sacred space for grieving, crying out to God, and laying down the burdens of a hard year, even as we prepare to rejoice in the coming of Christ.
